Congratulations to NOELLE ALLEN who was chosen as the 2018 Bursary winner. Excellent job from all the candidates!

Welcome to our family!

We have even more great news to share. Our soccer family has grown with the addition of a second London & Area Women's Soccer League (LAWSL) Division 1 team!

Coaches David Mackay and Frank Brennan, and their LAWSL Division 1 squad have joined the family and registered with Sarnia Girls Soccer Club. David and Frank have operated the Sarnia Women's Soccer Club (known as Sarnia City) for over 20 years, with teams mainly in the Premier and upper divisions of the league. Many of their players played some part or all of their youth soccer years at Sarnia Girls S.C.

This new development gives SGSC competitive teams at both the Division 1 (Coach David Mackay and Frank Brennan) and Division 2 (Coach Justin Randall and Dina Arruda) levels, providing more opportunity for our youth players to continue playing in an adult competitive environment. Both of their schedules can be found on the league website at Come out and cheer them both on when you can.

Coach Mackay is also helping April Nicholls with our U10 Select Group, and was one of our mainstay coaches in this past winter's Player Development and Advanced Player Development programs.

2017/2018 Board of Directors

2019 AGM is October 22nd at 7:00

Please note that Registrations are not complete until payment is received. Please include a copy of the player's birth certificate for first time registrations with SGSC.

Please note: There are NO REQUESTS for age divisions U4-U18. Everyone plays at the SGSC fields so car pooling is not a problem and making new friends on the team is fun.

Please read the REFUND policy. There are NO refunds once the first indoor, outdoor game, skills sessions or camp commences regardless of the reason. * If a request is emailed to the office BEFORE the season begins, a refund will be issued minus the $20 administrative fee.

Remember NO jewelry of any kind is allowed on the field. If you can't remove it, you don't play!

ALL SPECTATORS are to sit on the opposite side of the players, the game will be delayed by the referee until the rule is followed.

NO DOGS are allowed on the fields.

Did you hear the news?

Sarnia Girls Soccer is pleased to announce the signing of an OPDL affiliation agreement with London Whitecaps (a branch of the Vancouver Whitecaps MLS franchise).

Click here to read the press release from the Whitecaps:

What does this mean to me as a parent?

This means that Sarnia Girls S.C. players can be called up to play on Whitecaps London OPDL (Ontario Player's Development League) teams as if they were a member of Whitecaps London's own club. They will still ask us and you the parents, but it provides a pathway for our players to access opportunities in a standards-based elite-league which we did not previously have access to.

Whitecaps London are entering the OPDL this year and will field U-13 girls' and boys' teams. Each year that they remain in the league they will add U13 teams for the current year in addition to their existing teams, eventually completing placements from U13 - U18 in the next six years. This means the teams will be for players with a birth year of 2005 this year, 2005 and 2006 next year and so on.

We are excited about this, as are London Whitecaps. If you have questions, please let us know.
